Rolling out varied innovation “societies” under the IEEE brand umbrella
SUMMARY
Gravitude partnered with IEEE Standards Association and the MIT Media Lab to help shape the brand for the Council on Extended Intelligence, an initiative focused on advancing human-centered AI. Our role was to translate a complex, highly technical vision into a clear, compelling brand that could resonate with an AI-minded audience spanning academia, industry, and global leadership. We reframed the narrative around “extended intelligence” to emphasize collaboration between humans and machines, developing a messaging platform that balanced innovation, ethics, and accessibility.
From there, we built a cohesive brand system that carried across key marketing touchpoints, including visual identity, messaging frameworks, digital assets, and thought leadership materials. Every element was designed to reinforce the credibility of the IEEE–MIT partnership while making the initiative more approachable and engaging. The result is a unified brand that transforms an abstract concept into a powerful platform—inviting global audiences to participate in shaping a more responsible and human-centered future for AI.
